Attorney

Ginger G. Mooney

Ginger Mooney began working on criminal, post-conviction and habeas corpus cases as a law clerk in 2001. From 2003 to 2015, Ginger was a partner at Van Ness, Mooney, LLC, in Salem, Oregon, focusing on post-conviction, habeas corpus, and family law. She founded Ginger G. Mooney, LLC in 2015 in her home of Hood River, Oregon.

Ginger's meticulous attention to detail, and heartfelt compassion for those caught up in a flawed criminal justice system, has made post-conviction remedies a fitting endeavor. Over the years, Ginger has increasingly focused on trial level criminal defense. The extensive experience Ginger gained through endless case reviews has given her a unique perspective at the trial level; quick to avoid common pitfalls and always willing to go the extra mile. Additionally, Ginger recognizes the intersection between criminal defense, education defense, and immigration consequences, and takes great care to address such matters comprehensively in each case.

Ginger has authored publications on habeas corpus relief for the Oregon State Bar and the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
